A few days ago, I thought it would be good to try roasting some chicken drumsticks that had been in the freezer. I didn't know exactly how I wanted to do them, so I experimented a bit with some goodies that were already in the fridge, and they turned out great. The chicken was a big hit.
These are so easy and so good! Adjust the amount of sauce you make depending on how many chicken drumsticks that you choose to use.
Honey Mustard Chicken Legs
- Chicken Drumsticks
- Honey Mustard Salad Dressing
- Chinese Szecheuan sauce
- Red Pepper flakes
Spray baking dish with cooking spray. Arrange drumsticks in the baking dish and roast at 400 degrees for ten minutes. Reduce heat to 350 and continue roasting for 50 minutes.
Mix two parts honey mustard dressing with one part szecheuan sauce. Add some red pepper flakes for a bit of additional heat if you'd like. Pour over chicken legs and continue to roast for about 15 minutes, or until the sauce is thick and browned.
You could marinate your chicken in the sauce and grill it as well. Yummy!
I think there's something wrong on you website, because i don't see your banner since 3 days... I use Chrome, but with IE i can see it. Is this normal ? Regards, Sophie

Oh this sounds good!! The hubby doesn't like chicken so it is always a challenge to get him to try new ways (since the kids and I love it), he just may like this one!!

Do you think it would taste as good if I used chicken breasts? We are not big on drumsticks over here, but your recipe sounds darned tasty.

Really, Barb, I'm impressed that you can come up with recipes on the fly like that! I can't cook without an actual recipe and I would never dream of trying to vary from it -- I don't have any creative cooking skills whatsoever. Thank goodness there are people like you or people like me would never eat!
