Ladybug asked me last week if I could put up a good pork tenderloin recipe. Well sure I can! When we have pork tenderloin here, I usually just marinate it one way or another. This past Saturday night we had it, and put on a dry barbecue rub that a friend had given us. Yummy!
Here is one of my favorite basic marinades, it works great for pork, flank steak, and chicken!
Marinated Pork Tenderloin
- 1/3 cup light soy sauce
- 1/4 cup sesame oil (or regular cooking oil is fine)
- 1/3 cup packed light brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice or white wine
- 4 garlic cloves, crushed
- 1 tablespoon dijon mustard
- 1 1/2 teaspoons pepper
- 1 1/2 to 2 pounds pork tenderloin
Mix all ingredients except pork loin and put into a ziplock bag. Add tenderloin and marinate for several hours or even overnight. Grill or roast at 425 degrees for 25 minutes.
I think I might make a nice pot of stew tonight or maybe chili, because it's gotten really CHILLY outside! Speaking of chili, have I ever posted my White Chicken Chili recipe? It's a winter favorite around here and it's super easy. Maybe I'll post it next week, even if I have posted it before.

That sounds yummy. I cheat with my pork tenderloin. Our grocery store has awesome pre-marinaded ones that I get. I should probably look at the label though and not assume because it's not Hatfield that there aren't a bunch of preservatives in them. Pork loin is a winter staple here. You'll find me grilling it in the snow LOL.

That sounds so yummy! I always worry about cooking pork tenderloin because I don't want to over cook it because it gets so tough but don't want to under cook it either!
