Congrats, Barb! Love your choice of Acme as a pseudonym. Hilarious!

Marketing sounds like a blast. Youll be great at it. You have your own office with a door? Will you be lunching with The Donald? Just dont forget about us little people!

excited to hear about your new job !That is awesome!

Congrats on the new job and the closing office door! I love it when things work out so well!

Congrats on your new job Barb. I absolutely love your ACME pictures adding to the story. :)

Congrats on your new job. Neat story on how it came to be.

As far as your busy new schedule, keep things as simple as possible for yourself in the begining. Make time for those things that are most important to you first!

Good luck!

Hooray! Congrats on the new job, best of luck to you (and I loved the series of photos!).

Congrats! The new job sounds like quite a boon. The only time I had my own door was the commission only mortgage job that I last about 6 months in. Couldnt stomach the sub prime market. Wishing you lots of happiness with ACME, lol and thanks for the Road Runner snipets. They always were my faves after Marvin the Martian.

Congratulations on the new position! It sounds like it could be a lot of fun. My DH and I have both been trying to find new jobs. I want him to get something with benefits that we could actually afford just in case I loose my job and I want something with a little more job security. My position is funded with grant money and with the economy, both nationally and across our state, it is a very real possibility that we will loose funding for my job. Weve both applied for a dozen jobs and havent gotten a single response even though were both well qualified for the positions were applying for. Its a big reality check for us both.

I can so relate. Ive been having these SAME issues since this past May and STILL no job. I am just not going to work commission based jobs or be a telemarketer. Just not going to. I told my hubby I felt I had to dummy my resume (as my last position was as a technical program manager at Sprint) just so I can get a basic front office (I was burnt out from all the stress and 60 odd hours a week FROM home and the reason I left Sprint) so I just want a job I can leave it alone as soon as I clock out. Its frustrated...even tried going back to PM work but no luck...But Im so glad you found something!

Congratulations on the new job! It sounds like alot of fun.

Acme lol I love it! Im a big fan of the Looney Tunes. Its strange how things work out isnt it, like the one day you walk the dog you meet your friend etc etc - I really believe that things happen for a reason. Im glad you got the job are enjoying yourself so far!

Jan Connair (Magpie)

I am so excited for you! You are gonna rock that job. The stars are getting back into alignment for you, I think.

Congratulations on the new job! I work at a chiro office now and need to look for more work/benes. I understand where you are coming from.
Good luck with it all!
