Happy Birthday Shannon!!!! You are so cute and fun! I love that bottom picture of you!

Aww that's a bummer, that looks like a crazy amount of snow you got though!! Happy Birthday to your daughter!

Awww sorry to hear that!! Hope you can think of something fun to do.

Happy Bithday to Shannon! The green looks good on you.

Linda Rodriguez

Awwww, what a bummer for her birthday! Of course, my kids are here begging for snow here down south. Hope you all managed to make a fun day of it. :)

Jen Caputo

At least she has an awesome shirt on ;)

Maggie Pinque

Happy, happy birthday from NY to OH. :)

XoXoXo from ALL of us!

And yes, I distinctly remember the day she was born...

Jen Davis

Oh no! Cute and funny pics though! I can totally relate to weather pains, it doesn't feel like it's ever going to warm up where we are!

Hang in there!

Lisa Dorsey

Oh that stinks. Have fun celebrating her birthday at home. I am sure you can make it fun! Great pictures btw!

great photos, happy birthday to you DD

aaaaaahhhhhh.......teenagers always think chores are hard. I know I did at that age. I know that you will make your daughter's day wonderful Barb.

aw, sorry her bday has been postponed due to inclement weather. Ha. sounds like a news report huh? Happy Bday anyway, and hope she gets to celebrate tomorrow!!

If it makes Shannon feel any better, the power has gone out twice on Ryan's birthday, just as dinnertime rolled around. And it's rained 19 out of 21 b'days for Sean (April 13), including the day he was born. No massive snow storms, though.

I approve of your baking plan. But what do you mean, "if [you've] got the supplies"? I can't even begin to fathom not having the supplies for baking! You know me, I could practically run a bakery out of my house! Maybe you should just crank up that chocolate fountain again?

Happy Birthday to your daughter! We've got all ice here, but at least we still have power.

Love that - teenagers don't die from shoveling snow! They don't wrench their back and hobble around like a 90 year old biddy, either.

Have fun today!

Ah yes, the teenage right of passage for those of us who get snow. I can't wait until my boys are old enough to pass the shovel on to them. My back will thank me.

What about a special dinner of whatever she wants, even if it's junk food? Just whatever you've already got in the house.

I am so glad it doesn't snow here lol! Great pics and hope everything gets better for the bday!

Florida Cindy

I hope she can celebrate when the roads are clear! Stay warm! Happy Birthday to your Daughter!
