Hydrangea Love

Peonies have always been my favorite flower, but lately I'm being swayed by the lovely hydrangea.

Beautiful hydrangea, how do I love thee?

Let me count the ways. . . .

On my table...

or in the garden (well, I wish they were in my garden).

Hopefully next year they will be. Then I can have a vase-full all summer long. 

By the way...that quilt? My grandma made it for me when I was 16 years old. It's been used for everything from a bedspread in the college dorm to a picnic blanket. It's colorful and soft and makes me want to take up quilting.

Those are one of my favorite flowers! We have quite a few and they're all different shades of blue, pink and purple because of the soil. I really should take a photo.

Stopping by from SITS...I LOVE hydrangeas and think I have that kind in my front yard...they finally bloomed this year...I think I might need move them, as I think they are getting too much sun...I also have pink ones in the side yard...now I want blue ones too! Hydrangeas and lilacs are my FAVORITES!
