I hope everybody had a good weekend! We celebrated Cinco de Mayo in our own way on Quatro de Mayo with some neighbors...big fun!
I can't believe it's Monday already....where did the weekend go? It was party city here, with a work outing on Friday, a Derby party and another party on Saturday afternoon and evening, a brunch yesterday, and margartitas with our neighbors last night. Whew! We even did a few productive things, like yardwork and a long family bike ride yesterday, so it wasn't a total food fest. I probably should have rode to Cleveland and back, however, to try to offset the caloric intake.....back to the gym at lunch today, no doubt!
Now here's what you've been waiting for.... I loved reading all your answers about how you got started scrapbooking!
The three winners (chosen at random by Random.org) of my "Will Scrap 4 U" contest are:
Mona
Love your blog. Your blog heading is fantastic and your latest layout is stunning (new kit from Annie Manning, I didn't know that). The drawing is so cool, my daughter at 10 cannot draw like this!

Diane
Your layout is absolutley gorgeous as is Shannon's drawing. Amazing for a 10 yr old. Have fun with your Derby party tomorrow. But make sure you get all your shopping done, lol.
I started digiscrapping because my SIL is such an awesome paper scrapper that I knew it would take me years and years to reach her level but I also wanted to scrap. I actually started with Smilebox and then got led to the digital community. I'm so happy I did, cuz I have a ton of new, great friends and an outlet to call my own. And if by chance I should be one of the lucky ones, I already have an idea on a series of photos that I know you would Rawk on.
Enjoy your weekend!!

Hi Barb!
I've been cutting and pasting stuff since high school, but I started formally scrapping in 2000 the same way almost everyone does--I had a baby! Didn't start digi until last year though.

Ladies, I'll be in touch later today. I'd love one to five photos, with a bit of journaling or a story behind the photos and this week I'll get busy scrapping for you! I'm excited to get started!
Now I'm off to the shower...busy day today, I'm working full time in the office all week. More jumbled schedules and I'm always the "swing person"! Feliz Cinco de Mayo for all my Latina friends out there, and if you're just another gringa like me, I hope you have a great day as well.
Hi Barb,
it seems you had a blast during the weekend!!! Have a wonderful week!
((hugs)),
